My attitude was... What ever I do, it is going to be better than nothing! Wow! Was my attitude the right one to have. I felt great in mind, body, and soul! My tempo up the hill was a nice trot of 7:15-7:20 as I followed Kim and Stuart. Coming back, I kept a good solid tempo of 6:55-7:00 all by my lonely little self. (I stopped for water and the folks I had been following were already running when I got myself to the 3 mile mark to head back...) No worries. I might have been running alone, but I wasn't. That is the beauty of it all.
I am so glad I got out of bed this morning.
