In Search of Pockets Part One: Rabbit Leggy 4"

This spring, like most of you, my life moved predominately indoors and at home for most of my waking hours. My one or two outings a day are solely for exercise and fresh air either running, walking, biking or riding my elliptiGo. Many times my outings are a combination of two.

During these times I have started the habit of going out on a run with no particular destination and then calling my husband or one of my kids to come get me from where ever it is that I land. What else do they have to do anyway? It is a win win. I get out of the hood and they get out of the house to come get me. This new little habit of the "where ever I land run" or long elliptiGo ride...(what if I get a flat out there?) has given me an at home obsession of shopping on line for the perfect pair of running shorts in which I can easily carry my iPhone 7.

Today I ran one of my "where ever I land" runs in my Rabbit Leggy 4" shorts. It was my second run in these shorts, but my first run carrying my phone. I have to say they get an A+. I will give you a list of the pros as I really don't see any cons with these shorts.

• They are comfortable- Not too tight but not too loose. Just right! I am 5'6" and an athletic build. I think I weighed 136 the last I checked. I usually wear a size 4 pants and a small or medium in Rabbit shorts or tights. I ordered these in the medium and they fit me perfectly. I loved them the second I put them on! 

• They have great pockets and the pockets are big! They have one big one each hip and even a zipper pocket in the back for a key or smaller stuff. My phone didn't move around at all. It stayed nice and snug. If I ever get to the place where I can run a marathon again, these will be the shorts to run it in. I love having big, easy to get to pockets with NO ZIPPERS for my Gu. These shorts just might motivate me to train and run 26.2 again, so you know I like these shorts. 

• The length is good. Yes, they do ride up a tad when running, but the fabric is such that it isn't uncomfortable or tight. I have a pair of LuLu's that ride up probably the same bit and I am constantly messing with them and pulling them down.... but the Rabbits don't even get my attention. I feel well covered putting my 54 year old legs in these and running in public. 

• They washed just fine. I washed them in cold and didn't put them in the dryer.

• The price isn't insane. If the price was a little lower, I would buy at least one more pair. At the price they are now, I will stick with one pair.
